Happy belated birthday, dear!

Self-baked cake is a must for dear's birthday each year. Better late than never, duh?

A simple marble butter cake. Due to the tight budget, I just used up whatever ingredient I had in the kitchen.

Cake fresh from the oven, topped with smooth ice cream from Bentong.

My brother's version: kaya from KL Yut Kee coffeeshop as topping.

The simplest and spontaneous cake I ever baked without any recipe.

All cakes came late this year. Three slices of Secret Recipe cakes from my mum; Cappuccino cheese, White and black chocolate cheese and Blueberry cheese. I didn't upload the photos, they would make my cake looks bad. ;p
Happy belated birthday, dear.

My poor oven

My oven had been deserted for so long. Poor thing. Felt sorry for it, so last night I took it out and let it done its job.

Oatmeal cookies with organic flaxseeds. 1 jar with chocolate chips and another jar with raisins.

Another attempt: Thin coconut crisps. But most of them were burnt. ;(

Okay, no more baking until I feel pity for you again, oven!

Chinese cabbage dumplings

Mum cooked chinese cabbage soup with meatballs for dinner tonight.
Reminds me of this~
Once upon a time, from the private kitchen...

I miss it.

The so-called hotdog buns

From another private kitchen.

After those cheesecakes, cupcakes, not-so-successful carrot cakes, chocolate cakes and tiramisu, chocolate walnut cookies, oatmeal raisin cookies and the failed biscotti, here comes another attempt.

The so-called hotdog buns.

Some said it tasted like the bun-like cookies of Popeye, the fast food restaurant. Okay, I admit that I made some mistakes during the process. :(

Wait for my next try!!

Dinner for a 'sick cat'

Organic hulled millet porridge, with shredded chicken and fried egg with long beans and fresh mushrooms.
