是我想太多?
得重新相信自己。
像找芝士的过程,虽然迷茫,但未必是糟糕的。
给自己打气打气!

A joyride. A memorable evening.
Unvarying daily routine, everything is well-planned and what we have to do is just follow the plans. Such life is so tiring and perhaps speeds up the aging process. We need some spice in our life.
It was a hot and lazy Saturday afternoon. Szee grabbed his car key and said, "Let's go."
Sitting in his car, I asked, "Where are we going actually?"
"I don't know. We'll just tool down the highway, and exit when we see any signboard that seems interesting."
That's how we drove along DUKE highway, and arrived at Pandan Indah.
The place reminded us our visit to the 'fake Little Genting'. It wasn't a good experience. We almost argued for that. Yes, as a KL-ian I had never been to Look Out Point or so-called Little Genting. Not funny okayy? Well for this time I've printed out the map to get to the place. But since we didn't plan to go, so I didn't bring it. We explored the area, and accidentally entered a kampong where Malay, Chinese and Indian live in harmony. What a calm and peaceful place. Even the stray dogs looked more friendly than others, LOL.
After a turn at a traffic light, we saw a big signboard: "Waterfall & Look Out Point". Yay!! The joyfulness and the sense of accomplishment would not so if we were referring to a map and searching for the place. In fact we were tooling around and ended up at a place that I wanted to go since long time ago.
Sometimes we need to give zest to our regular, unvarying, habitual, unimaginative life. A joyride could be fun. With no particular goal and just for pleasure for it, maybe in return we will have clearer mind and clearer view of the real destination in our life.

A memorable evening. ;)

The little things
This morning I was in bad mood due to some personal reasons. Arrived at office, I checked my email and I saw this email. Simple, but it made me think.
~The ' L I T T L E ' Things~
As you might remember, the head of a company survived 9/11
Because his son started kindergarten.
Another fellow was alive because it was
His turn to bring donuts.
One woman was late because her
Alarm clock didn't go off in time.
One was late because of being stuck on the NJ Turnpike
Because of an auto accident.
One of them
Missed his bus.
One spilled food on her clothes and had to take
Time to change.
One's
Car wouldn't start.
One couldn't
Get a taxi.
The one that struck me was the man
Who put on a new pair of shoes that morning,
Took the various means to get to work
But before he got there, he developed
A blister on his foot.
He stopped at a drugstore to buy a Band-Aid.
That is why he is alive today..
Now when I am
Stuck in traffic,
Miss an elevator,
Turn back to answer a ringing telephone...
All the little things that annoy me.
I think to myself,
This is exactly where
God wants me to be
At this very moment..
Next time your morning seems to be
Going wrong,
The children are slow getting dressed,
You can't seem to find the car keys,
You hit every traffic light,
Don't get mad or frustrated;
It May be just that
God is at work watching over you.
May God continue to bless you
With all those annoying little things
And may you remember their possible purpose.
FYI, I am not a Christian. But the moral of the message is understandable. As I was reading the mail, I could feel that the anger in me faded away gradually.
Sometimes it's good to keep the forwarded emails in your mailbox. Open and read it when you have nothing else to do, or when you are not feeling well emotionally.
Hope this simple message will change the way you think and help you to have a nice day.

Being cheated?
You often see online advertisements of part time job as freelance data entry, interested and wanna have a try? Here I share with you my experience.
Many months ago I saw some part time jobs posted in forums. Freelance data entry, sounds good. Can work from home or even office, anytime. Detailed information of the job was not posted, you are required to send an email to the post author and he/she will tell you the details. So I sent an email, no harm trying right? Soon the author replied, telling that I had to pay RM80 as deposit to make sure that I was really willing to commit myself to this job. RM80? If I could pay that amount I wouldn't want to look for part time job. So I ignored the email.
Last 2 weeks I discovered a part time job website. I could not take most of the jobs since I am working in UM during office hours, Monday to Friday. So I only considered freelance jobs. Again, there were many data entry positions available. Once again, I emailed the person-in-charge to get more information about it. Here is part of the reply I got:
The position for Home Based Data Entry that you inquired about does require you to have a computer with email access. Printers are not at all required but can be helpful. You can begin working FT or PT; the choice is up to you. You will need minimal typing skills for this position. You will be processing orders from your own computer via your email. This work from home opportunity will make you real money. You will not have to contact anyone; you will be contacted through your email. Now you must be willing to work as with any job, and it does require some time and effort to be successful. You will be paid RM20.00 for each order you process.
There is a "One Time Fee" of RM20.00 to begin. This is the cost of the Training Materials. The Training Materials give you the step-by-step instructions on how YOU get started. When you receive your Training Materials you may begin working that very same day. Once you have processed your first order you will have already made back the cost of your Training Materials. You will receive your training materials through your email. This work from home opportunity is legitimate and how successful you are only depends on the time and effort you put in. I am here to help you get started and answer any questions that you may have. If you are serious, and are willing to put forth some time and effort, then I look very forward to hearing from you again.
Sounds interesting? I hesitated whether to spend the RM20. I clearly understood that this might be just a cheat. By paying RM20 I would either learn a lesson or start earning some money. I considered it for a few days and Szee knew it was bothering me. He said he would pay for it and asked me to try.
After I transferred the money into the given bank account, in return I received something in my email account.
Congratulation that you are selected to this job.
You can started work today. Good luck!
Along with 14 attached files; PDF files and Word documents.

and others, about how to get other people into this job. Suggestions to promote your 'business'. They have email templates to be sent to your clients (just like what I've received), advertisement templates, lists of websites and free classifieds to advertise your 'business'. "The more ads you put, the more money you make", according to them.
Now I understand the operation of this 'business'. You will not have to contact anyone; you will be contacted through your email. Now you must be willing to work as with any job, and it does require some time and effort to be successful. You will be paid RM20.00 for each order you process. This is not about data entry. The time and effort required is not typing but is to post up advertisements, and for each fool who responses (like me) you will get RM20, then you will send them the 'training materials' to get their jobs started.
So now you know what is it about. If you feel that I was being cheated, I would rather say that I learned a lesson.
p/s: To dear, sorry for your RM20... I buy you something else la ok? ;p

Second visit to the north in a week
One day after I came back home from Sg. Petani, I traveled to the north again. Here are some of my favourite photos that I've captured.
From the garden of my grandma's house.
The next day we went to Penang.
We went to Hatyai on the following day.
The next day.
The market. You wanna know how fresh the fish were?
Can you see the face?
We returned to our country in the afternoon. After we reached at grandma's house again...

DELF
Diplôme d'études en langue française (DELF) is an official French proficiency certificate, administered by France's International Centre for French Studies (CIEP) for the country's Ministry of Education. It's the French equivalent of the English proficiency test TOEFL.
Shall I?
When I found out that it will cost me RM700++ I gave up on it. But after Szee checked with our French lecturer in UM, he told me that the fees would not be that high.
So....Shall I?
But I fear the listening part the most. Check this out, the sample papers, and you'll know how terrifying it is.
Shall I?
Frankly I don't think I can do it alone. I guess I need a (or a few) companion(s) for the encouragement, and to practice with together.
So anyone with me? ;)
